Pre-qualification call forthe procurement of works execution services for section 3 Paraćin-Trupale-Međurovo on the future high-speed line Belgrade – Niš, launched
“Infrastructure of Serbian Railways” launched the international tender for works according to Design-Build model for section 3 Paraćin-Trupale-Međurovo (subsections Paraćin – Stalać, Đunis – Trupale and Trupale – Međurovo, except subsection Stalać – Đunis), within Belgrade – Niš Railway Line Reconstruction and Modernization Project.
Based on the adopted conceptual design, Building Permit Design, Execution Design, as well as the As-Built Design need to be prepared.
Speed of 200 km/h has been foreseen within Belgrade – Niš Railway Line Reconstruction and Modernization Project. With the implementation of this infrastructure project, the railway line in question will be classified into the most modern railway lines connecting Central Europe with Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey.
Modern and fast railway connectivity will significantly contribute to the overall economic development of the region, improving the mobility of people and goods, increasing investment activity, and strengthening regional and international cooperation.
The call for tenders was opened on August 4, 2026 and, based on high criteria of professional and technical evaluation, the bidder that meets all pre-qualification requirements to the greatest extent will be selected. The deadline for submitting applications is October 2, 2026.
The contract will be awarded to the bidder whose offer, based on the established technical and financial criteria, is assessed as the most favorable.
The tender was published on the website of the “Infrastructure of Serbian Railways”, a specialized website for the Railway Corridor 10, as well as in the Official Journal of the European Union for tenders.
